How long will it take to get my order?

Average delivery time to Main Areas is approximately 3-5 working days from dispatch; Outlying areas 5-7 working days from dispatch.

Note that dispatch takes place once orders have been paid for in full – if paying via EFT (bank deposit), funds need to reflect in our account before dispatch takes place.

How do preorders work?

If an item is on ‘ preorder’, this means that the stock has not yet been custom manufactured,  but we have confirmed with supplier and manufacturers. This functionality allows our customers to secure stock of their chosen item in advance of its arrival, and before stock sells out.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The STüK outdoor oven is a versatile and powerful addition to any garden or backyard, transforming your outdoor cooking experience. It allows you to bake perfectly crispy pizzas in just a few minutes, thanks to its high heat capabilities.

But the magic of an outdoor oven doesn’t stop at pizza. You can use it to roast vegetables, cook succulent meats, bake bread, and even prepare desserts like cobblers and pies. The intense heat and smoky flavor from the wood impart a unique taste that traditional indoor ovens can’t replicate.

One of the key advantages of an outdoor oven is its mobility. Unlike traditional fixed installations, this oven can be easily moved to different locations within your garden.

This flexibility allows you to reposition your oven to the perfect spot, whether you’re optimizing for wind direction, making space for guests, or simply following the sun. With the STüK outdoor oven, you can enjoy the freedom of cooking anywhere in your garden, creating a dynamic and enjoyable cooking environment.

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO NOTE

Fire
Begin by placing small pieces of kindling wood inside the oven and igniting them. Once the fire is established, gradually add larger hardwood logs (25 cm in length and 7 cm in diameter). After 20 to 35 minutes, the oven will be preheated and ready for cooking. This oven can reach temperatures of up to 450°C (850°F), perfect for a variety of dishes.

Smoke
Once the oven is up to temperature, it produces very little to no smoke.

Here’s how to create fire without smoke, you need 3 ingredients: Wood, oxygen, and heat.

Wood
Should be clean, dry hardwood. 

 Oxygen
The STüK outdoor oven can create excellent airflow thanks to its internal system, which sucks in lots of oxygen. This makes for a very efficient burn with little to no smoke.

 Heat
This is the final ingredient for an efficient burn and is also the ingredient you will probably be missing the first 15 minutes after starting up your fire. That’s why you can expect some smoke development at the beginning of your cooking sessions.

MATERIALS

The STüK outdoor oven is constructed entirely from 3mm thick (0.12in) corten steel sheets. Corten is a steel alloy that forms a protective layer of rust on its surface. When you order our outdoor oven, it will arrive without any rust. Once placed outside and exposed to various weather conditions, the rusting process will begin. Depending on your location, the transformation from blank to rusty steel can take anywhere from a few months to a year.

The steel is designed to rust, forming a protective coating. During the initial rusting phase, some rust flakes may come loose, but this will stop over time, giving the oven its final, distinctive appearance.

The top part of the oven holds two baking stones made from food-grade, high-quality cordierite. This material has a very low thermal expansion, making it ideal for use in ovens. The baking stones absorb heat from the flames and transfer it to the food, ensuring your pizza always has a perfect, light, and crispy base. These stones can withstand temperatures exceeding 1000°C (1832°F).

DIMENSIONS

When assembled, the oven is 85cm  high, 37cm  wide and 40cm deep.

The oven weighs 45 kg excluding the pizza stones. 

COLOUR

Corten steel is a brown-orange steel. The coloration is due to the self-protecting rust layer that naturally forms over time. Once it has matured, this layer of metal oxide is called a patina.
